Today, Leapmoor celebrates 3 years in business. We never imagined what this year had in store for us all. We are just grateful to be healthy and to still be able to do what we do, albeit a bit differently. After months of working at home, Gary has recently resumed his weekly trips to Invergordon, providing engineering and project management support to the Port of Cromarty Firth’s Phase 4 Development as it nears completion for handover to the Moray East Offshore Windfarm team. Meanwhile, Alison continues to work from home and is still enjoying doing her bit to try to connect the brownfield community at this difficult time, volunteering with the Scottish Contaminated Land Forum (SCLF) to deliver a program of CPD webinars.
Although there are uncertain times ahead in a post-Covid world, we don’t regret the decision to start this company in 2017. Our journey so far can be best summed up by the pioneer Amelia Earhart; a formidable woman whose accomplishments in aviation inspired a generation of female aviators and who shares our birthday today:
We would like to thank all our clients, suppliers and associates for your part in the continued success of Leapmoor…we wouldn’t be here without your support and belief in what we do. While we’re not having a formal celebration this year, we invite you to raise a glass with us tonight to celebrate your own achievements and to take action to control what you want in business as well as in life.
Sláinte to the first 3 years and the many more to come!
